KINGS BAY CLERGY AND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HELP SPRUCE UP CAMDEN HOUSE
On Saturday, April 23, a group organized by the Kings Bay Navy Base Clergy came to Camden House to paint the entire lower level of the Shelter. A group of their wives and friends stayed back and cooked a fantastic hot lunch, which was certainly enjoyed by all. They will be back to finish the remainder of the shelter soon. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped out. Doug Maurer, from Habitat for Humanity provided the paint for us. Thanks, Doug. What a fresh coat of paint won’t do for a home. You all helped our clients, victims of domestic violence and their children, to have a brighter day, each day.
